NOTICE:
It is Christmas time, the time of joy and celebration of the birth of the savior of humanity, Jesus Christ.
So, of course, Satan and his minions cannot allow these celebrations to go untouched. The Capitol building in Iowa now understand a display of a golden ram’s head atop a torso draped in a red ribbon, a representation of the pagan figure called Baphomet. For what? Christians, followers of Jesus, the faithful could start these evil protests, if enough voices cried out and demanded their suppression.
Few members of American society, except the most despicable, want this disgusting display of evil at the State Capitol.
The governor herself, for example, said this: “Like many Iowans, I find the display of the Satanic Temple at the Capitol absolutely reprehensible,” said Governor Kim Reynolds.
But.
But, she said, “in a free society, the best response to objectionable speech is more speech and I encourage all those of faith to join me today in praying on the Capitol and recognizing the nativity scene that will be on display – the real reason. for the season. »
How nice.
Tolerance towards the devil. Sympathy for the devil. Concessions for the devil.
And otherwise ?
The Satanic Temple likes to present itself as a religious organization in order to slip into public display permits under a First Amendment argument: that is, if scenes of Christianity are allowed to exist on public property, then the religious freedoms protected by the Constitution require that they be equal. access must be granted for exhibitions of other religions. But the Satanic Temple is not a religion; it’s a group. And just because her webpage insists on being called a religion, and talks about congregations of Satanic Temple-watchers and gives advice on how to start a “congregation” in a community near you, she too States this in response to the question “Do you worship Satan?” » » – “No, nor do we believe in the existence of Satan or the supernatural. »
How is it a religion if there is no higher power to worship?
“The Satanic Temple has no sacred books or scriptures and we do not adhere to the Satanic Bible,” the website also states.
The group promotes what it calls its central principles, aligned with “bodily autonomy” and “rejection of arbitrary authority,” etc. But it’s only received its IRS tax-exempt status in 2019. That is, the “religion” has been around for four years.
And Americans of true faith cannot fight this open blasphemy?
In a newsletter, Iowa State Rep. Brad Sherman, Republican of Williamsburg, said that the Satanic Temple exhibit is not truly protected by the First Amendment and should therefore be demolished and removed. His argument relies on the state’s own Constitution which says that the people of Iowa are “grateful to the Supreme Being for the blessings hitherto enjoyed by them”, and that if the Nativity scene s aligns with this expression, that of the Satanic Temple absolutely does not. He is absolutely right.
“It is a tortured and twisted interpretation of the law that gives Satan, who is universally considered the enemy of God, religious expression equal to God in a governmental institution that depends on God for his continued blessings,” wrote Sherman.
He is right once again.
The Satanic Temple is an organization, club, group, etc. – but not a religion. The IRS should have scoffed at its request for recognition as a religious organization. This is not the case. Regardless, the Iowa faithful must take a stronger stand against this scourge.
Prayer is good.
Praying is always a good beginning – not to mention the middle, the end and the continuity.
But faith without works is dead.
And to pretend that the Satanic Temple belongs next to a Nativity scene at Christmas time in the hallowed halls of governance of a state – in the halls of public service of any state – is to shrug the shoulders of a Christian duty: that is to say, to fight for the light and oppose the darkness. .
Let the Satanic Temple sue.
Let the little demons launch trial after trial after trial.
Let their money dry up while they chase and chase and chase.
Those who stand with God need only resolve to remain standing; just take the matter to court; just fight PR battle after PR battle until the name Satanic Temple is synonymous with scum. In the Bible, God’s chosen ones regularly demolished pagan structures.
Has America really fallen so far that it cannot see the evil of the Satanic Temple and trembles at the thought of eradicating that evil?
Christmas belongs to Jesus; America, at one time, not only knew it, but celebrated it – because, by and large, Americans, at one time, recognized that the DNA of this country was rooted in rights and freedoms given by God; At one time, Americans recognized and cherished the idea of a heavenly Creator who granted freedoms to the individual.
Satan and his Satanic Temple tools want to steal God’s glory and presence by hook or crook, legal maneuvers and lies.
Whether they expand their footprint across America or are forced back into the holes they crawled out of is a question for Christians and those who say they follow Jesus.
