As more and more irreligious The West is deteriorating and declining, God is showing up in the East in unprecedented numbers.
The West has effectively rejected God. After the last few hundred years of secular efforts to divorce Christianity since its foundations there, secularism has succeeded in Europe and it will soon be the same in America. Average church attendance among young people in European countries is 8.4%. In America, it is 20%. Today, large majorities of both cohorts radically oppose every gift that Christian thought has given them since their founding.
However, all hope is not lost for Christians. Because even though God seems to be going away, He is simply changing direction. The center of gravity of God’s most active efforts is rapidly shifting eastward. Throughout the Eastern Hemisphere, unprecedented Christian growth is taking place, especially under the most difficult conditions.
Asia’s Christian population now makes up about 8.2% of its total population, and it has been growing twice as fast in the last century. All regions outside of West Asia experienced rapid growth. The most notable development is in China. Many believe that its Christian population now exceeds 100 million and continues to grow, despite increasing harassment from its authoritarian government.
The laws of Islamic countries are very harsh towards Christians, which is why the faith took time to spread there for hundreds of years. However, this is beginning to change, as Christians appear there in large numbers. The most notable is Iran. Brutal repression by an overzealous theocracy has led more residents to reject the Islamic faith. Amid this divide, Iran’s Christian population grew from 10,000 to 1 million in 20 years, making it the the fastest growing in the world.
There have been countless growing accounts of Muslims converting because of their dreams of jesus. This experience is becoming so common that some missionaries now call it “the normal experience” and claim that “Muslims are responding to Jesus at levels we have never seen, not in 1,400 years.” Even in the war-torn Gaza Strip, 200 residents reportedly woke up one morning after having the same dream of Jesus and converted simultaneously.

The killing in Iran of a woman not wearing her hijab by morality police sparked a four-month series of “woman, life, freedom» protests.

Are these signs of a radical change in times or at least a prologue? While the West dismisses God from all aspects of life, welcomes foreign invasions, and suffers from birth starvation, the East shows signs of unprecedented religious and political changes.
The Christian faith is growing rapidly in the East, just as the authoritarian power structures of the East are creating ever-widening fissures there. The entire geopolitical world is on the verge of complete upheaval.
