She described knowing that some of her loved ones “hadn’t been saved” by Jesus as “debilitating and paralyzing” as she chatted with her friend, Christian Becket Cook.
“When you think about it too long, your mind can really start playing games.”
Chynna explained that after she “got saved by Jesus” in 2022, she sat all her friends down to try to convince them to do the same.
But ultimately, she said many of them “rejected” her new point of view.
“I sat my friends down to talk about (my faith) and about a quarter of the way through, it didn’t take long, I saw this kind of glaze appear on their eyes,” she recalls.
“As loving and gentle and gracious as I tried to be, I could see in their eyes that there was this dislike for what I was saying.”
She revealed that “a few” of them seemed “receptive” at first, so she ended up “baptizing them in her bathtub” – but in the end, they didn’t “follow through.”
The star added that she was “so gutted” by her friends’ reactions, before she and Becket decided to say a prayer for them.
“I thought it would be a good idea to pray for all the unsaved souls,” she concluded in the video. “For all our friends and family who are unsaved.
“Lord, you know how debilitating this can be for us sometimes, it’s crippling, so we ask your father to help us remember that ultimately, it’s truly in your hands.”

The two sat down for an unflinchingly honest on-screen discussion about their marital problems, and they said the former socialite’s devotion to Jesus became a “glaring problem” that led Billy to wondering if they were going to “make it in the long run”. ‘
“You and I have this kind of systemic problem in our relationship that we’ve been very honest about from the beginning, which is that you see your life and the world from a very different perspective than I do,” Chynna told Billy.
“Sometimes this tends to cause rifts and little chasms in our relationship, and we do our best to work through those differences.
“The Christian aspect has become a glaring issue for a while because (religion) has kind of taken over my life in a lot of ways.
“It may have even made you wonder if you and I can really succeed in the long run.
“You would never divorce over this – but (I think you’re wondering), ‘Can we stay truly happy and connected and thriving with me on this Jesus trajectory?’
In early January, Chynna posted another video discussing the division that his faith had caused in his marriage to Billy.
At the time, the mother of three said she and the actor had been “separated for six months,” but she didn’t say when the breakup happened.

In another video, Chynna claimed her religion sparked a “power struggle” between her and her husband.
She shared: “I’ve been with Billy for 32 years and we have a great marriage, but we’ve definitely had the hardest two years of our marriage in the last few years, it’s been a real struggle.
“I think it’s because I just dove deep into Jesus and I think he didn’t really know what to do with it because it was kind of all Jesus all the time.
“We kind of had a power struggle. The Bible says that (wives) are supposed to be submissive and (men) are the head and all that is true, but it also says that a man is supposed to treat his wife like the church and all that, so I think I was just I’m having trouble with this.
Chynna also said that she and Billy feel like they have very little in common lately.
“Sometimes he says, ‘You don’t like the things I like.’ You don’t like politics, you don’t like wrestling, you don’t like the philanthropy things that I do,” she continued.
“We’ve done a few things together and it’s been amazing and very rewarding, but we’ve never really found that one thing that we can hold on to and do together as a team and so I’m praying in 2024 that we’ll find the the only thing we can do together that feels truly fulfilling.
“I’m not 23 anymore, I met him when I was 23 and I’m changing. I’m growing up, you know?
“I am not the same person I was 30 years ago and I refuse to have the same marriage we had 30 years ago. It is time for us to mature and grow up.
