GB News guest Clare Muldoon jokingly joked with Eamonn Holmes and fellow guest during a discussion about the process of converting to Christianity.
Muldoon was debating news that migrants were making “misleading” claims in a bid to increase their chances of staying in the UK by converting to Christianity.
She explained to Eamonn Holmes and Isabel Webster how the process is complex and cannot be rushed.
But his train of thought was interrupted by a giggling Eamonn as a particular turn of phrase tickled him.

“It takes a long time to convert,” she says.
“It takes at least 9 to 12 months for the RCIA and the Catholic Church to convert, and then these people convert at the Easter Vigil, which is a huge thing.

“Furthermore, you have spent many years thinking and thinking about this.”
She then stopped to ask Eamonn “what is he kidding about”.
“I wasn’t laughing,” he insisted.
“I’ll pray for you, don’t worry about that,” she responded jokingly.
Muldoon was particularly incensed by news of migrants claiming to be Christians. She was joined by political commentator Alex Armstrong who shared similar sentiments.
“People are on TikTok giving advice on how to get British citizenship and live on state income,” he said.
“It’s a problem. I don’t understand why the government knows there are illegal immigrants doing this.
Muldoon added: “I absolutely hate it. We are approaching one of the greatest holidays in the Christian calendar (Easter).
GB News presenter Isabel Webster addressed the issue in defense of the Church, asking: “How are they supposed to know, if someone asks them to convert, are the vicars supposed to turn them away?”
At a hearing today, MPs question senior church officials about how conversions are used to support asylum claims.
