P.or Keir Starmer. Whatever his efforts, another Labor politician emerges with arguably anti-Semitic views that still infect elements of the post-Corbyn party. No sooner has a member who made a scandalous comment been expelled than another emerges.
Not that I think all these comrades are truly anti-Semitic, but they demonstrate hatred towards Israel. No matter how badly Russia, China or Iran behaves – often far worse than Israel, even under current leadership – the visceral hatred, conspiracies and memes are reserved for the world’s only Jewish state.
This is not the place for a detailed discussion of this issue, but on a personal level, as an Anglican priest with three Jewish grandparents, what does this mean?
