In recent years, Hollywood celebrities have used their platform to desecrate and blaspheme God.
Demi Lovato, Beyoncé, Madonna, Sam Smith and many other celebrities profit from mocking Our Lord, Our Lady and Christianity in general.
Rapper Lil Nas video and song blaspheming Jesus, the Bible, the Rosary and Catholicism. He depicts himself as a provocatively dressed Jesus, holding a rosary and crucifying himself in a re-enactment of the crucifixion.
The song sparked intense reactions from Christians.
However, this isn’t the first time the rapper has mocked Christianity. In 2021, ChurchPOP reported on Lil Nas X’s “Satan Shoes” stitched with “Luke 10:18” and a pentagram. They also contained a drop of human blood.
In a exclusive video for ChurchPOP, Father Dan Reehil of the Diocese of Nashville responds to the actions of Lil Nas X, as well as the pattern of profanity in Hollywood.
“Why do celebrities continually choose to attack Christianity in their work and art?” Father Reehil begins.
“But do they really know what they are doing? For some I think so, for others I think they are completely unaware that blaspheming God is so offensive to Him. »
Father Reehil then says that we must pray for their conversion and refers to The words of Jesus on the cross: “Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do.”
However, Father Reehil claims that these artists present this mockery under the guise of “freedom of expression”.
“We have freedom – the freedom to choose good or evil. Do you remember what the Lord said to Moses and the Jews?
“‘I call heaven and earth to witness against you today. I place before you life and death, blessing and curse. Choose life, that you and your children may live and love God, your God, listening to him with obedience and embracing him firmly.’” Father Reehil quotes.
“But ultimately, we can choose death in the name of free speech, and when we do that, we choose hell. Hell is a choice,” the exorcist continues.
“To live far from God, to mock God, to spit in his face and to reject him with boldness and intentionality is to choose hell,” he warns.
“And if you choose hell and evil in this life, you can be sure that will be your reward in the next. Choose wisely. Time is running out.”

While Lil Nas recently apologized for his actions, he did not remove the blasphemous videos.
Let us pray for his conversion!
The angel’s prayer (Fatima prayer)
“O Most Holy Trinity, Father, Son and Holy Spirit, I adore you deeply. I offer you the most precious Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity of Jesus Christ present in all the tabernacles of the world, in reparation for the outrages, sacrileges and indifference by which He is offended. By the infinite merits of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary, I ask for the conversion of poor sinners.
