AActress Danica McKellar shared Tuesday how she realized she had been “so biased” against Christianity before becoming a believer.
“I’ve always been very biased against Christianity for various reasons, mainly because of the bad reputation it has gotten for causing wars, and you think, ‘Oh, Christians are really people who wear judgments’, and all these religious things. The truth is, Jesus was anti-religion. He was anti-religion, and I didn’t even realize it,” she said during an appearance on Fox and friends.

McKellar explained how her friend Candace Cameron Bure invited her to church and she became aware of her preconceptions about faith.
“I’ve been around Christianity my whole life, in one way or another, but it never really worked,” she said.
The visit to the church made him change his mind.
“You don’t feel alone in the moments when you’re alone. You’re not alone. And the fact that it’s accessible to anyone at any time,” McKellar explained.
She added: “I thought religion was a restrictive thing. It’s actually the most liberating thing in the world.”

“It’s just a really beautiful gift, and it feels good, and I want everyone to feel that feeling,” she said.

McKellar recently left California to move her son Draco and husband Scott Sveslosky just outside of Nashville, what she calls a “total quality of life improvement.”
She and Bure both star in the Great American Family films, an alternative Christian television channel rivaling the Hallmark Movie Channel. Bure is also the television network’s chief content officer.
