A Muslim family was arrested in Nashville, Tennessee, after a minor victim told authorities his mother, father and brother attacked him for converting to the Christian faith.

According to an arrest warrant, the boy was punched in the face and spat on by his mother, father and brother; the mother is also accused of having scratched the back of one of the victim’s hands with a knife, WZTV-TV reported.
The young man was allegedly begged during the attack to renounce his Christian beliefs and proclaim Islam, according to the exit.
“He stated that (his mother), along with his brother and father, hit him several times and spit in his face,” according to the report. bed, in part. “He said his mother then took a knife and scratched the back of his right hand. He said his family, including his mother, had asked him to recant and state that he was Muslim.
Authorities became aware of the situation after his employer reportedly expressed concerns.
When police arrived for a welfare check on Dec. 11, they found the boy with injuries including facial bumps and scratches. He was reportedly shaken as he described the ordeal.
The young man was taken to hospital. Meanwhile, parents Nick Kadum, 57, and Rawaa Khawaji, 46, have been charged over the incident alongside 29-year-old John Kadum.
Khawaji charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, Nick Kadum and John Kadum charged with domestic assault, WSMV-TV reported.
